This part of Berkshire has excruciatingly low broadband speed – which may come as a surprise to you since there are so many high-tech businesses in the vicinity.
There is a campaign under way to pressurize BT into investing in the necessary upgrades to equipment, but it isn’t going to happen overnight. So many more people now work from home and the low speeds available can be a real handicap. Fortunately, the speeds are usually sufficient to use Skype for my teaching,although occasionally I have had to switch off the video.
